Most of the tour runs on asphalt and some of it on easy trails.

Day 1

Pick up your bikes, have a short orientation, arrange your gear and off we go. Ride north along the coastal highway to a view point on Mt. Carmel. From there continue north to the City of Akko, a world heritage site. From Akko we will cut east through the upper Galilee along the Lebanese border and visit the old city Tsfat where Kabbala started. We will go down towards the Kinneret, Sea of Galilee. We will stay in area  of the Sea of Galilee.

Day 2

Today we will head further north to a lookout on the Lebanese border and the Hula valley. Depending on the season, it is possible to do a short hike or raft on the Jordan river. Our route will take us up the Golan Heights to a 12th century fortress and from there we will continue along the Syrian border with a few lookouts and nature reserves all the way to the famous winery of Katsrin. After the visit in Katsrin we will ride to see a 1,600 years old synagogue, one of many that were discovered in the Golan Heights. We will then head to a stunning viewpoint of the Kinneret, Sea of Galilee, and then ride down the winding road that leads to the meeting point of the borders of Israel, Syria and Jordan.  We will stay in area of the Sea of Galilee. Night out in Tiberius.

 

 

Day 3

In the morning, we will ride to the Gilboa mountain range for a scenic road that winds up and on top of the mountain allowing great views of the valleys around where many biblical stories took place. Then we will visit Beit Shean and on the way to Tel Aviv, we will stop to see the aquaduct of Caesarea

Day 4

In the morning we ride to the World Heritage site of Maresha and visit the bell caves. We will also visit the site of the fight between David and Goliath. In the evening we will do a tour Tel Aviv and Jaffa.

Day 5

We will ride all the way south to the Scorpions Pass and continue to the Arava Valley The Syrian-African Rift. After riding to in the valley we will go towards Arad and ride off road on a trail to see a stunning view of Mt. Sodom - the only salt mountain in the world and the Dead Sea.

Day 6

We will ride from the city of Arad at 550 meters above sea level to the lowest place on Earth, the Dead Sea. Here we will visit Masada and also have a chance to float in the Dead Sea. We will end the day in Jerusalem.

Rest day

Day 8

On this day we will visit Jerusalem and we will try to understand why Jerusalem is so important for the Jews, Christians and Muslims. We will visit the old city as well as part of the new city. At the end of the day we will conclude the tour in Netanya and return the bikes.

Day 1

Day 7

We will ride east toward the Syrian-African rift until we reach the lowest place on earth. The Dead Sea. A visit the oasis of Ein Gedi will show us how people lived in the desert thousands of years ago. From here we will continue riding along the Dead Sea to visit the fortress of Masada.  Tonight we will stay in the Dead Sea rea and will also have a chance to float in the Dead Sea.

Day 8

Our riding today will take us deeper into the desert making our way to the Maktesh Ramon. A crater like phenomenon - only one of eight in the world. On the we will stop at Ben Gurion’s grave, the first prime minister of Israel. From here we will go all the way down to Maktesh Ramon and ride there in an open geology book.

Day 9

We will ride all the way to the Scorpions Pass and continue to the Arava Valley The Syrian-African Rift. After riding on and off in the valley we will go towards Back to Netanya return the bikes and conclude the tour.

HIGHLIGHTS

Day 1

Pick up your bikes, have a short orientation, arrange your gear and off we go. Ride north along the coastal highway and the Via Maris to Mt. Tabor – the site of the Transfiguration. From here, we will ride to Nazareth to visit the church of Annunciation, where Mary was told that Jesus is going to be born. We will continue riding to the village of Cana to visit the Wedding church, the place where Jesus performed his first miracle. We will then ride down towards the Kinneret, Sea of Galilee. We will stay in area of the Sea of Galilee.

Day 2

On our way further north we will follow the mission of Jesus around the Sea of Galilee visiting the places Peter was asked to be the rock upon which the church will be built, the place of the miracle of fish and loaves, Capernaum and Mt. Beatitudes. Then we will ride to Golan Heights for some stunning roads and views. After visiting one of the most beautiful sports in Israel – a viewpoint of the of the Kinneret, Sea of Galilee, we will ride down the winding road that leads to the meeting point of the borders of Israel, Syria and Jordan.  We will stay in area  of the Sea of Galilee. Night out in Tiberius.

Day 3

After an optional short cruise on the lake, we will ride to the Gilboa mountain range for a scenic road that winds up and on top of the mountain allowing great views of the valleys around where many biblical stories took place. Then we will head to the Meggido, site of Armaggedon. Following that, we will ride to on to Tel Aviv.

Tour Tel Aviv and Jaffa, ride to the World Heritage site of Maresha and visit the bell caves.

We will ride all the way south to the Scorpions Pass and continue to the Arava Valley The Syrian-African Rift. After riding on and off in the valley we will go towards our Dead Sea area hotel. On the way we will stop at Mt. Sodom – a whole mountain made of salt and already mentioned in the bible.

Day 6

Today we will visit Masada and also have a chance to float in the Dead Sea. On the way to Jerusalem we will also go to the baptismal site of Kasr El Yahud. We will end the day in Jerusalem.

On this day we will visit Jerusalem and while following the footsteps of Jesus, we will try to understand why Jerusalem is so important for the Jews, Christians and Muslims. We will visit the old city as well as part of the new city. At the end of the day we will conclude the tour in Netanya and return the bikes.

Day 1

Then we will cut east through the upper Galilee along the Lebanese border and pay a short visit the old city of Tsfat, where Kabbala started. We will go down towards the Kinneret, Sea of Galilee. We will stay near the Sea of Galilee.

Day 2    

Today we will head further north to a lookout on the Lebanese border and the Hula valley.                 After spending some time around the Kinneret, including a possible short cruise on the lake, we will head a little bit south to the ruins of Beit She’an, an ancient Roman city. From Beit She’an, we will go to the Gilboa mountain range for a scenic road that winds up and on top of the mountain allowing great views of the valleys around. Then we will head to the world heritage site of Meggido and after that will go by the Via Maris, the ancient main road that connected Africa, Europe and Mesopotamia. Stay in central Israel.

Day 4

 

On this day we will visit Jerusalem. The main places will be decided by the definition of the group’s religious orientation. Generally speaking we will try to understand why Jerusalem is so important for the Jews, Christians and Muslims. We will visit the holocaust museum of Yad Vashem and Mt. Herzl in order to learn more about recent Jewish history. We will not miss a visit to the old city of Jerusalem including all 4 quarters and the Wall.

Day 5

A rest day

Day 6    

Today we will go down to the Dead Sea and on the way will view one of the oldest cities in the world, Jericho. After a short visit to the Ahava, Dead Sea cosmetic factory we will go to a beach to experience floating on the Dead Sea. Following that we will continue south along the Dead Sea and make a short visit in the oasis of Ein Gedi and then head further south so a yet another world heritage site, Masada – a fortress in the desert.  Stay in the Dead Sea area

 

 Day 7

From there we will continue to viewing a few of Israel’s unique geological structures of the carter like natural phenomena called machtesh. These structures are unique because there are only 8 of them in the world, 5 located in Israel. The largest one being the Ramon Crater. We will also visit ben Gurion’s grave in the desert and take a short hike in the nature reserve of Ein Avdat. At night we will stay in central Israel

Day 8

Visit the ancient city of Jaffa and its post and flee market and Tel Aviv, Jaffa’s big sister. We will visit the area where Tel Aviv started, visit some of Tel Aviv’s colorful markets have some free time to explore and shop. On this day we will do just a little bit of riding and some walking.  Return the motorcycles, go to the airport and fly home.
